According to INRIX®, a leading provider of traffic and navigation services in North America, Houston is the 6th most congested city in the U.S.
Yeah, no kidding! Is the first reaction most people will have to this news. Its no secret that most of us sit in traffic going to and from work (and lunch, and the gym, and the store) every day.
So whats the news then?
The Good: Nationwide traffic congestion is now beginning to show signs of increased congestion, which parallels improvements in the economy! So we may have to sit in the car longer, but hey, we’re getting a pay check, so who can complain.
The Bad: Worst bottleneck in Houston – 1-45S approaching Allen Parkway.
The Ugly: the words coming out of my mouth while trying to get onto 610 from 59 will never be pretty.

Oh by the way: INRIX even has an app for you iphoners
Let’s be honest: If you’re going to be in traffic at least be prepared
Accessorize: To make the best of the bumper to bumper time you will need
Bluetooth headset, good tunes (I’m currently obsessed with the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack) , and some sustenance
