Yes it is indeed 2010 – I know, no one can believe it, but here we are. And like every New Year people decide to kick things off with a bang and jump start thier life with new or perhaps just yet to be conquered resolutions. I however, am not a huge a fan of the New Years “Resolution” – don’t get me wrong, I think the concept is fantastic, I just am not particularly fond of the name. I mean how many people actually even remember their NY Resolution come March 5th or so. So, instead of making a resolution you will forget, this year just start with something you want to do and talk about it as a life change – that way, when you actually actively pursue your life change goal everyday then you will a. remember what it is, and b. be able to hold onto it for a while and not let it fade into the distance (along with the memory of who you may or may not have kissed on New Years Eve). So, no matter if its going to the gym, quitting smoking, losing weight, getting to church more…just make a conscious effort to make it a life change, not some random resolution you came up with…that way this year, it will stick.
Oh By the Way: You don’t always have to be creative with resolutions, if you want to lose weight with the other 9 million Americans that want to, that is absolutely ok
Let’s Be Honest: Its going to be a day by day process, but you can make it happen
