While living all over the country/ world these past few years, I would always tell stories about my southern roots. Whether it was cheerleading, rushing a sorority or college football many of my friends couldn’t believe their ears when I told them about life in the South. So this one is for all that want a glimpse into the life of a southern girl on a Saturday…it’s just the way we roll.
8:45am: Up (not particularly awake) with coffee in hand and getting Lola ready for the big Texas v OU game!

11:00am – Kickoff Cocktail at Antique Bar (my beverage of choice, a bloody mary of course).

11:30am: Cheering on the Longhorns with the girls (still smiling at this point).

2:30pm: Group heading out as the Horns finish up the game…devestating loss for the Longhorns this year (smiles are fading).

3:30 – 5:00pm: Quick trip home to grab lunch and swap out T shirt colors…then heading off to the UH v East Caroline game.
6:00pm: Checking out the tailgates while heading into Robertson Stadium.

6:30pm: Kickoff – Let’s go Cougars!

7:30pm: Cheering on the Cougars that are dominating the East Caroline Pirates

9:30pm: It’s great to be on the winning side at least once today!

And then I went home and fell fast asleep…
Oh, By The Way: If you were wondering, yes, Lola is prepared for NFL on Sunday’s as well

Let’s Be Honest: It’s a hard life, but somebody’s got to do it!
Accessorize: My game day attire
Boots are essential (Larry Mahan Boots)

If you’re going to more than one game, make sure you have colors for both (Tee’s from Urban Outfitters and H&M)

And always add a bit of sass to your outfit (In God We Trust Necklace)
