It’s almost November, and yet the stabbing chill of early winter hasn’t made its way to New York.
While temps linger in the 50s and 60s, I’m avoiding big boots and heavy coats as long as possible. Those can wait.
Fall is the most romantic time of year in New York, evoking a similarly romantic aesthetic in my sartorial choices, meaning: Audrey Hepburn. Which translates to a boxy, boyish cashmere cardigan (to make me feel just as slight and whispy as Audrey), skinny cropped jeans and ballet flats. Adding a pashmina and big shades is the easiest way I know to feel fabulous and mysterious while walking the autumnal streets of New York.
(A plus: No makeup required!)
This outfit is as easy and casual as it is classic and ladylike.
Let’s Be Honest: I’m sure I’ve got exactly 2.4 days left to leave my ankles exposed, so I’m rockin’ it until that stabbing chill comes a calling!
