I’m sort of obsessed with Dexter (isn’t everyone?), and my mother is definitely obsessed with my dating Michael C. Hall (thankfully not Dexter himself, nor serial killers in general). So in a Dexter marathon on a recent Friday night (Hey, no judgement. He’s the sexiest Friday night date I’ve had in a while.), I was prompted to dig into the some celebrity gossip and find out the reason for his divorce from co-star and former wife, Jennifer Carpenter.
(Alleged reason: wanting babies vs. not wanting babies.)
And while sifting through the freaky world of fan sites, I found a homemade video– the aptly titled, “Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter Divorce Video”– composed of stills of the celeb couple SET TO VIOLIN MUSIC, reminding one of Schindler’s List more than, say, the red carpet, which is where the majority of the pics were snapped.
Creepiest. Video. Ever.
Redeeming outcome of all the gossip surfing: Discovering Deb’s (that’s Agent Morgan, to you) killer red carpet style, most impressive being the Zuhair Murad bias-cut dress she wore to the 2009 Emmys.
Oh, by the way: She’s as convincing as a scrappy, foul-mouthed tomboy detective, as she is an awards show fashion plate.
In Tony Ward at 2011 Emmy Awards
In Oday Shakar at the 2010 Emmys
Let’s be honest: Her style on the red carpet is more consistently impressive (and, well, let grating) than the entire cast of Glee‘s.
Accessorize: Applause for inspiring us to have a red carpet moment in a little white dress.
In Paule Ka at the 2010 SAG Awards.
Thankfully we don’t need an awards show to sport fab fashion. I wouldn’t mind strutting in any of the following ‘fits…
