I woke up to the following email:

Any thoughts on a good place for girls’ night out + dancing on a Saturday? Critical facts- we’re not 25 anymore, we don’t do lines, we prefer top 40s over dance/techno/electronica. Discuss.

GirlAT: Off the top of my head- check out The Hudson Bar at the Hudson Hotel by Columbus Circle.
They play great dance tunes, it’s a cool space, and there shouldn’t be a problem getting in, especially if you get it earlier for cocktails. I would call to confirm their policy.

Also, a friend was DJ-ing at Gild Hall in FiDi, so they have good music, and I believe dancing is encouraged. But call to see what the scene is.
