I’m not what you would call a “girly” girl. I’ve never had a room accented in pink, I’ve never been one to wear florals and frills (even as a child I was particular about this) and I will probably never dress my children in smock. So, when the floral trend came back this season, I had some issues. While I might not be girly, I do love fashion and trends, so how do I find that balance between being fashionable and being me?
Well, I did some research and found some floral trends that are a little bold, a little bright, a little different than the usual and I now feel on board with rocking this new trend. Here’s what to keep in mind if you, like me, were skeptical – only do one floral at a time (don’t mix prints, ever!), find the more abstract floral prints, and keep the colors bold.
