This weekend State of Unique hosts their annual spring show at the California Market Center downtown. I’ve been looking forward to this much talked about event and on Sunday will check out all of the amazing clothing, jewelry, food and fun offered by hundreds of uber-talented local designers. To get a taste of what I will experience and what you can expect as an attendee take a look at the fun Spring 2012 Look Book created at Disneyland using Instagram.
A few of the booths I’ll be stopping into are Lemon Bird Handmade Jams, Cardtorial which offers unique wooden cards for all occasions, and jewelry from Angelica Mariposa Designs and Upper Metal Class. I’m also eager to see the fabulous Resort 2012 collection from Eva Franco in person.

Tickets for Saturday and Sunday are still available. The $10 admission price includes a collectible Unique LA tote bag, a photobooth portrait, crafting workshops, refreshments to keep you hydrated while shopping, and the opportunity to earn giveaways throughout the weekend.
Oh, by the way: You’ve heard of Caine’s Arcade, the amazing arcade created entirely from cardboard boxes made by a 9-year old boy, right? Well, Caine will be at Unique LA with his arcade this weekend. Now is your chance to meet this phenomenal little boy and his amazing creation in person – and pick up a Fun Pass to play some games.
Let’s Be Honest: With an excellent track record in Los Angeles is it no surprise State of Unique is expanding to more cities in 2012!
