What: A surprise from the clothes fairy in the form of international hand-me-downs. Laura Lees Label dresses are the perfect mix of femininity + edginess; embroidered with safety pins and hearts, butterfly wings filled with a roulette wheel design and Dia de los Muertos icons at the hem of a gauzy sundress. Even though I’m just getting to know her, Laura seems like a veritable bad ass.
Oh, by the way: Currently, it’s difficult to find her pieces online, but you can check out Laura’s world via her blog, The Mighty Stich and teaching embroidery classes in London. Um, awesome. Do I know how to embroider? No. But she is inspiration enough to start.
