Let’s be honest: Did I have VIP access? Yes.
Did I look and feel great rocking a new outfit? Totes.
Did I turn into a mumbling teenager when trying to tell frontman Billy Joe Armstrong how much I want to have his baby, love him, respect him as an artist? Oh, yeah.
What: Nokia Music’s showcase for Green Day at super intimate venue, Irving Plaza.

After: Dancing at No.8, the new incarnation of hotspot, Bungalow 8.
No.8, 357 W 16th St (near 9th Ave), New York, NY 10011
Oh, by the way: There’s always room for a late, late night (or early, early morning) snack at 5am in Chelsea’s Pop Burger. The Superman is the most intense burger I’ve ever attempted and because of the fried pickles piled on the patty, it’s perhaps my favorite in the city.
Pop Burger: 58-60 9th Avenue (9th Ave, south of 15th St.) New York, NY 10011. (212) 414-8686
Accessorize: …with my outfit for the evening. I love the dress I picked up at Gallery D during my last trip to Austin and these spanking new stilettos. I managed to dance with them {almost} all night.
